According to Urbandictionary.com:   Blaxploitation is defined as a film genre from the 1970s that targeted the urban african-american audience. The actors used were mainly black and was the first style to use funk and soul music.

Black Dynamite is the story of 1970’s action legend Black Dynamite. When “The Man” murders his brother, pumps heroin into local orphanages, and floods the ghetto with adulterated malt liquor, Black Dynamite is the one hero willing to fight all the way from the blood-soaked city streets to the hallowed halls of the Honky House.

Of course this is going to be more of a spoof of the genre but considering the crappy quality of the modern movie spoof (ie. Date Movie, Epic Movie, Disaster Movie, etc), this flick looks as if there was some considerable thought about the movies to which it pays homage.  After the success of GrindHouse, it seems there is new life in the 70’s style cinematography.  But even if I wasn’t a Film Fan, everyone needs a good laugh.  With the state of the economy, a good laugh is worth gold.  Here’s hoping this movie is as funny as the trailer.
